  • What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?
Therapy focuses on healing emotional pain, processing past experiences, and addressing mental health concerns. Therapists help clients work through past challenges that impact their present well-being. Coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused. It helps you set and achieve goals, develop strategies, and take action. ADHD Life Coaching specifically supports individuals in understanding their unique ADHD traits, harnessing strengths, and implementing personalised management strategies. Coaching is about self-awareness, accountability, and progress.
  • What makes ADHD Life Coaching different from Life Coaching?
ADHD Life Coaching combines traditional life coaching skills with specialised knowledge of ADHD. I am trained in ADHD and fully understand its complexities, including executive function challenges, emotional regulation, and the impact of ADHD on daily life. Seeing you through this ADHD lens means I understand your struggles and can guide you in ways that genuinely align with how your brain works. My approach is compassionate, practical, and tailored to your unique needs.
  • Do I have to be diagnosed to be coached?
No, a formal diagnosis is not required. Many of my clients either suspect they have ADHD or struggle with similar challenges. You might relate to ADHD if: A family member has been diagnosed, and you now see yourself through this lens. You’ve researched ADHD and recognise many of the symptoms in yourself. ADHD awareness has increased, and things in your life are finally making sense. You struggle with impulsivity, time management, procrastination, or emotional sensitivity. If you are considering an official ADHD diagnosis, I can help you prepare for your appointment to ensure you don’t fall under the radar. Something that happens far too often for women.
  • Can you provide an ADHD diagnosis?
No. In Australia, only psychiatrists can formally assess ADHD in adults. However, I can help you prepare for your appointment, ensuring you have all the necessary information and examples to share. ADHD assessments are costly and time-consuming, so being well-prepared is essential for an accurate diagnosis.
  • Do you only coach women with ADHD?
No, I coach individuals with or without ADHD. While I have a strong focus on supporting women, my coaching is open to anyone looking for support and guidance.
  • Do you offer coaching in French?
    Oui !
  • What can I expect from ADHD Life Coaching?
Coaching is a structured, goal-oriented process. I guide you, but you are active in the change you want to create in your life. Key aspects of coaching include: Accountability - A crucial element for progress. At the start of each session, we’ll review your previous steps, ensuring motivation and follow-through. Personalised Strategy - Each session focuses on a topic you choose. We’ll explore its impact on your life, assess potential mindset shifts, and develop a plan tailored to you. Action & Review - Between sessions, you’ll put your plan into action. We’ll then review what worked, what didn’t, and adjust as needed.
  • Does coaching work? How long does it take?
Every coaching journey is different, depending on your goals and how long you've been facing your challenges. A three-month commitment is a great starting point, allowing you to make meaningful progress in key areas of your life. Some clients feel ready to move forward independently after that, while others choose to continue coaching on an as-needed basis. Coaching works best if: You are open to new perspectives. You attend sessions regularly. You take accountability for implementing the steps we discuss. When fully engaged in the process, you’ll gain: ✔ Clarity on your roadblocks and how to overcome them. ✔ A deep sense of self-pride in your progress. ✔ A sustainable mindset shift that supports you beyond coaching.
  • Can I cancel my coaching program?
If you feel coaching isn’t the right fit, you can cancel anytime with seven days’ written notice. You will be refunded for any remaining sessions.
  • What do I need to do before attending my coaching session?
Come with an open mindset and a topic in mind. At the start of each session, we’ll review your progress before diving into the next steps.
  • Where are you located?
I’m based in Sydney, Australia. All sessions are online, so you can join from wherever you are, whether that’s across the city or the world. Sessions are held over Zoom, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate your timezone.
  • Do you offer coaching in other languages?
Yes, I offer sessions in both English and French.
  • How and when do I make payment?
Your first appointment is a complimentary call, free of charge and with no obligation. The Initial Consultation (90 min) is billed separately from the coaching program. A secure payment link will be provided. Coaching programs can be paid upfront or in instalments. More details here: Coaching Fees
  • What happens if I’m late for a session?
I understand that unexpected things can come up. If you’re running late, I’ll wait for 10 minutes. After that, the session will be forfeited. If you anticipate a delay or need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. Each coaching session is more than just our time together; I also prepare before and reflect afterward to ensure you get the best support. Being on time or notifying me in advance helps me maintain the quality of my work and respect the time I dedicate to each client.
  • What if I miss a coaching session?
If you need to reschedule, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a no-show fee (session forfeited). You will receive reminders before your next coaching session.
  • Are sessions online or in person?
All coaching sessions are conducted via Zoom. A link and reminder will be sent before each session.
